Divisi Divisi is the University of Oregon's first and only all-female a cappella group, and do they kick butt! They're arrangements are blow-your-face-off kinda amazing. I've spent all night looking up their arrangements and I'm LOVING it. Their latest album, DIVisi, is over $20 on iTunes though :'( Apart from that, I completely HOOKED on this gals.
Classic Rock Now, this kind of music isn't usually my style, but after watching my sister's dance concert where they performed a Rock of Ages medley, I've been obsessed. Seriously, I've been singing Pour Some Sugar on Me, Paradise City, I Wanna Rock and We're Not Gonna Take It constantly, and that's not even the full list. It's extremely catchy and not in the teeny boppy sort of way. I can't seem to get the genre of music out of my head, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

I just ran 10km so I'm exhausted and I'm not gonna write much. CHRISTMAS TOMORROW WOOOO!!!!! So if you've been following this blog, then you'd probably know I'm a total Pentaholic, so it seems fitting that I end the Christmas-themed songs of the day with a Pentatonix song. They never cease to blow my mind with their arrangements and Carol of the Bells is no different. Whilst Christmas shopping, I've heard a few other versions of this song, but none seem to measure up to this one. I'm extremely exhausted so I'm going to end this post here. I've been away all week, with little to no internet access, so of course I hadn't heard about Pentatonix's new video. Thank god it was only released last night otherwise I would have been devastated. One word for this: mind blown. Ok that was two, but whatever. Anyway words can't describe my love for PTX and, I just can't. They're amazing, and you need to watch THIS! It's incredible ok. You guys won't know this, but I am a HUGE fan of a cappella and all that business thanks to Sara Bareilles. I absolutely adore The Sing-Off and think is amazing. My aim in life is to learn how to beatbox like Geena (Delilah). As awesome as Geena's skills are, Pentatonix never ceases to blow my mind. Being as young as I am, I missed the era of boy bands in the 90's and had no idea who N-Sync were. Doesn't even matter. I had no idea what song they were singing and yet, PTX still managed to amaze me. What they do is incredible and this medley is just proof of that. S xx
